So this is kinda a random post
but it sums up the last few days.
Next Sunday will be our 12th Anniversay.
Can't believe we've been married
that long. It seems like a year or two.
We decided to celebrate this weekend
by staying in Prescott for a few days.
The weather was gorgeous.
This sign however was too funny.
I found this little tanning salon in
Prescott Valley when Nate went
into a gun store. Can't complain as
he let me make a few stops along
the way and boy did I score a few
great bargains:
Like these shutters in like new condition.
I've been looking for a set for a cute craft,
storage idea I saw on a blog. I have been
to cheap to pay the going rate of around
$30 - 40 a pair and my patience finally
paid off. I got 2 sets for a steal.
A coat of paint and some vinyl
lettering and decals and
you won't recognize these plain ones.
Anyone need a set,
I only need one.
Then onto Prescott Goodwill. We stopped in
while we were killing time before we could
check into our suite at the Prescott
Inn & Suites. Nice place, huge king sized
bed and jacuzzi in the suite.
Well I found a beautiful chest in there
that I really wanted and on Saturday
they were having a 50% of the whole store
sale. I thought for sure we would score
the chest too. Not so. When the doors
opened Nate and I raced back to find
the chest had been sold the day before.
Boy was I bummed, not bummed
enough to pay full price for it tho.

But I did score these great "I Spy books for
$1.49 for all three. Some shorts for Nate,
Chase and myself, thankfully not a wasted
trip.

I also found these little darlings
at a quilt shop in Prescott Valley.
Love them and sure won't see
them on every other Rag Quilt
Etsy shop.
We had fun, lost $50 bucks at
Bucky's Casino, had some great
food and walked down Wiskey Row
and Cortez Street. Visited some awesome
little shops and for the first
time Chase wasn't with us.
But not to worry, my parents
came to his rescue as usual and
rented a cabin in Pinetop to keep him
happy while we played and relaxed.
We also watched "The Proposal"
with Sandra Bullock. If you want
a laugh out loud funny movie
then this is it. We laughed the
whole time.

Then on my latest project. I really need
to finish this one and get it into my
Etsy shop.
More to post later, waiting for Chase
to get back form Pinetop so we
can celebrate Father's Day.
He's sure to have some funny
tales to post about later.

OK, most of you know I love coupons.
I am also an obsessed ad matcher.
Well recently I have been looking
at ways to try and reduce our out
of pocket RX copays. When I worked for
the State, I carried the insurance so the
County would give us $2600 and we
would put it in Flexible Spending. Well
without the Flex Account we see more
out of pocket expences than we used to.
So I went online and began searching,
guess what I found:
$15 Coupons for Nasonex Chase's
nose spray, that covers all but $5 of his
RX copay every month thru 12-31-09
YE HAW
$20 Coupons for Nate's nose spray
Nasocort thru 12-31-09
covers his whole copay
$20 Coupon thru 12-31-09 for
Chase's Singulair and
Nate's Singulair
covers their
whole RX copays
that's $40 bucks a month right there.
A purple card for me from Nexium
that covers $15 of my $40 copay
THAT"S $90 BUCKS A MONTH
I AM PUTTING TO GOOD
USE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
What a GONGA of a deal.
Get the idea, just enter your RX
in a search engine and start looking
you might be surprised at what
you find.
I also started ordering my
Generic Rx's in 90 supplies
from Walgreens and I am
saving on average 1.5 copays
on the Generics.
Example: a generic for 1 month
is usually $7 so 3 months
would be $21. Doing it the
90 day way it's only
costing me $14 - SWEET.
Don't ya just love coupons
and bargains ???

Check out my Sassy I Spy Lovey.
Just finished it, to see all 9 of the
I Spy squares you'll have to go to
my Etsy Shop to see 'em.
The back really is a deep, rich
black dot minky. (Picture didn't
turn out to well of that).

I sooo love having a garden
especially a summner garden.
There's nothing like fresh veggies
every night and lots of tomatoes
for all that yogurt and cottage
cheese I'm eating to fight the
battle of the bulge or rolls
in my case. I have been walking
everyday except Sunday, nothing
to show for it yet.
Can't wait to start canning all
these beauties.
HAPPY SUMMER SUNDAY...

Let's see it's just gone 10 pm
and our little family just returned
from SONIC with our free rootbeer floats.
About 945 I jumped off of the couch and told
Nate and Chase I forgot about the free
floats at SONIC. They looked at me
like I was teasing when I suggested we
hop in the truck and go get one.
We get there and Nate asks the girl
on the window "What's the catch"?
She says nothing and tells him we can have one
for everyone in the truck. My boys
actually thought I was trying to pull a
fast one on them at 10 pm at night.
WOULD I DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT ???
Anyways, thanks SONIC.
