Canning, what a mess
but so worth it in the end.
My Grandma Donna and I
managed to put up around 70 pounds
of California Pears. They are soooo yummy...

Tonight I have a date with
Jalapeno Jelly.

may i say YUMMO!!?? i adore pears and i guess we just don't get enough cold weather down here to grow them well...my pear trees are 6 or 7 years old now, and i've only gotten two hard little pears from them! lol
i shouldn't complain......at least i can have something in the ground 12 months out of the year.....that's alot more than most folks can say!
